1* Bastille - Weight Of Living (Pt.II)
I have chosen a Bastille song to be one of the songs in contention for our group to do because it firstly has very powerful lyrics. It is always asking questions about you that make you think. This is quite a serious song which may allow more people to emotionally interact with the piece. The video could show a person who is under the stresses of life and how things have become to hard to cope with and show the change from what that person used to be like to what they are now. There wont need to be any special effects in this as the lyrics should be powerful enough with the performance to keep people interested in the video.
Ed Sheeran ft. Passenger No Diggity - Thrift Shop
This is the second song I have chosen this is slow like the first song also but it is bit more upbeat and fun as it is just done off the cuff by the two and it turned out to be a very popular song, it was not meant to be taken to seriously and this is why it does not have a video. But the song is so well known that it would be good to cover it.
Tinie Tempah ft. Ella Eyre - Someday
This song is my third choice and I have chosen this song because it involves both a male and a female artist unlike the other two so it will involve both genders. The lyrics in this are very powerful and it allows you to make a strong connection with the piece, giving us good scope to be able to make a story for the video that people will enjoy. Tinie typically likes to make his videos interesting and catchy to watch so we could use some special effects.
MY CHOICE! Chris Brown X
I just had to do a Chris Brown song and this is a new one from his upcoming album and it doesn't have a music video at the moment and it is so catchy and upbeat. This will just be really fun and exciting to cover. The video ideas im not really sure of right now but we can use lots of special effect in it because it is such a energetic lively song that it is needed.
